Vocabulary Day Parade!

Today was our vocabulary day parade. It was a wonderful learning experience for the students. The kids participated by dressing up to describe their vocabulary word. Each class choose a winner and they will be announced st GMT Friday, November 9th. Thanks for all the parents who helps create and support your children in participating in today!

Monster Match

Some of the third grade classes participated in a video conference, Monster Match. This is where the students write a descriptive writing about a monster they have drawn. We send the descriptive writing piece to another school and they they to draw the monster. We meet on a video conference to compare the monsters.

Opera

Third grade had a wonderful time attending the opera. The Forth Worth childrens Opera visited a Frisco High school and performed The Three Little Pigs. The student have learned alot about the Opera and really enjoyed the performance. It was nice to see everyone dressed nicely for the performance.

Red Ribbon Week

We had a wonderful Red Ribbon week! Everyone enjoyed seeing the Flying High assemble sponsored by the PTA. They had a great message for the students about working hard in school and staying drug free.
It was a fun week!

Wonderful book fair

Thanks to everyone who visited the book fair from Oct. 15-19th. We loved seeing all the new books kids got and are excited about all the reading that will be occuring this year. It was a very successful event for PTA!

Dress for Success!

Today the studetns dressed up like what they wanted to be when they grow up. It was fun seeing them dressed and ready for a job.

College week, Dream Big

We are dreaming big about college in third grade. Today was we wore our PJs to support college week!

Memory Bags

The third graders read Wilfred Gordon McDonald Partridge and created Memory bags including objects they never want to forget. They are:

College week

We love to celebrate our education and we will do that next week with college week.
Here are the daily themes:
Monday: Wear a cap
Tuesday: Wear Pajamas
Wednesday: Dress like what you want to be when you grow up

Thursday: Crazy hair day
Friday: Wear a college shirt or Taylor spirit shirt
